Sheoldred // The True Scriptures je mythic karta z March of the Machine, která se transformuje mezi Legendary Creature a Enchantment – Saga. Jde o jednu z nejsilnějších control-grind karet v současném Magic the Gathering.
V první formě přijde na hřiště s menace – to znamená, že ji může blokovat jen dva nebo více tvorů najednou. Když přijde do hry, každý ze soupeřů musí obětovat jednoho netokenového tvora nebo planeswalker, což ti okamžitě čistí jejich hřiště. Prakticky se zbavíš největších hrozeb. Za čtyři manu a black můžeš Sheoldred vyhodit do exilu a vrátit ji transformovanou – druhá strana je Saga, která tři kola střídavě ničí tvory, nutí soupeře diskardovat a milovat, a v třetím kroku ti přináší všechny creature karty z všech hřbitovů pod tvou kontrolu. To je exponenciální výhoda – zvlášť když jsi do graveyard strategy skládal.
Hodí se do grindy Commander decků s black focus, zejména do Sheoldred centric buildů nebo do decků s reanimation synergií a discard mechanikami. Využiješ ji jako finisher, který ti pomůže stabilizovat hru a postupně převzít kontrolu. Soupeř nemůže obranné věže budovat, protože Saga je doslova rozebírá a pak ti je vrací. Legální je v Commander, Standard (po dobu jejího legality), Pioneer a dalších formátech. Cena se pohybuje kolem 16 USD / 15 EUR.
